INSTRUCTIONS
Before handling the machine, all indications in this Instruction Manual must be observed.
The use of the machine with any modification of the safety elements that it includes may cause accidents and
violate Council Directive 89/655/EEC. Equipamientos Cárnicos S.L. may not be held liable for using the machine
under said circumstances.
INSTALLATION
The grinder comes packed in the working position. It is advisable to keep this position during unpacking and
installation. Place the machine on a permanent and solid surface so that the top edge of the tray is at a
comfortable working height, which is approximately 100 to 140 cm.
Ensure that the voltage and frequency of the mains correspond to the specifications on the machine’s nameplate.
Also ensure that the type of power supply of the mains and of the machine (single-phase, three-phase, with or
without neutral) is correct. It is mandatory that the machine be connected to the mains through a differential
protector with an adequate gauge for the technical specifications indicated on the machine’s nameplate.
The installer should adapt the male connection (plug) of the machine to the socket of the mains so that they
match perfectly.
Check that correct assembly of the plate and blade group. See diagram 1.
Unscrew the front nut (
A
) and remove the entire assembly. When installing the auger again, observe that it fits
perfectly into the groove (see the placement of the plates and blades). When screwing on the nut (
A
) again, do so
gently down to the end so that the plate/blade assembly is not excessively tight.
Connect the machine to the mains and press the green On button to verify the rotation direction of the auger,
which should be counter-clockwise (looking at it from in front). If it rotates in the opposite direction, swap the
phases on the plug.
CONDITIONS FOR USE
The grinder is designed to be used for processing boneless meats.
The meat temperature should not be below 2º C.
Never use the machine without the tray (
B
), and the opening guard may never be modified.
Keep in mind the plate and blade assembly indications. The machine also must not be started without the cutting
group installed and the front nut tightened correctly.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The grinding process is very simple. Place cut product in the tray. Press the green On button and introduce the
meat through the tray’s tube so that it falls onto the auger (
C
), which takes it to the plate/blade assembly.
Depending on the product to be ground, it may or may not be necessary to use the piston (
D
) as a vertical pusher
to help the auger move the meat.
Occasionally check to ensure that the nut (
A
) is not loose.
