P2138 - Plausibility error between APP signal 1 and signal 2
ACCELERATOR PEDAL PLAUSIBILITY
The function checks both the acceleration pedal signals for plausibility and makes the test result . The
ECU also checks the ratio of both the signals. If the difference between both the signals goes beyond
the maximum range then it is taken as a failure

During Ignition ON, EMS ECU compares both APP1 and APP2 signals and the
difference is within the maximum range
DTC DETECTING
CONDITION
The difference between APP1 and APP2 signals is more than the maximum
range

Short /open in accelerator pedal module sensors circuit
Faulty accelerator pedal module
Faulty EMS ECU
LAMP STATUS
OBD lamp ON
DTC REACTION
Engine rpm limited to 1200 .Vehicle in limp home mode

Ignition OFF/ON
