Accelerator pedal wiring
harness connector
DISCONNECTED
EMS ECU wiring harness
connector DISCONNECTED
Check the resistance between
pin 4 of accelerator pedal
wiring harness connector and
pin 61 of the EMS ECU wiring
harness connector
Is the value < 1
Ω
?
YES
Examine the open circuit of
accelerator pedal sensor 1
signal wire
Repair/replace the wiring
harness
Clear the DTC and verify
YES
STEP 6
Ignition OFF
Accelerator pedal wiring
harness connector
DISCONNECTED
Ignition ON
Check the voltage between pin
1 of accelerator pedal wiring
harness connector and battery
ground
Is the value = 5±0.25
V?
STEP 7
Ignition OFF
Accelerator pedal wiring
harness connector
DISCONNECTED
Check the resistance between
pin 1 of accelerator pedal
wiring harness connector and
battery ground
Is the value =
∞Ω
?
Examine the short circuit of
accelerator pedal sensor 2
power wire with battery ground
Repair/replace the wiring
harness
Clear the DTC and verify
Go to STEP 8
Go to STEP 9
