EEPROM
EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory) is a storage device inside the EMS ECU
COMPONENT LOCATION
NORMAL
OPERATION
During ignition ON , the EEPROM can be flashed, read & written- this happens
during the overrun period.
DTC DETECTING
CONDITION
The block cannot be read more than 3 times from the EEPROM
PROBABLE
CAUSES
Faulty EMS ECU
LAMP STATUS
System Check lamp ON
DTC REACTION
EMS ECU switches off
