STEP 1
Connect the smart tester
Turn the ignition ON
Initialise the diagnostic tool
Record the DTC and clear
Turn ignition OFF
Turn ignition ON
Verify if P1645 is present?
Is P1645 present?
Intermittent problem exists
Refer the intermittent problem
inspection procedure
NO
YES
Check and correct if there is
any wiring harness connector
loose connections
Check and correct for any pin
back out or oxidation
If the DTC still exists, replace the
EMS ECU with a new one
Check for any new DTC’s
