Fuses
A fuse is the most common electric
protection device. A fuse is placed in an
electrical circuit, so that when current flow
exceeds the rating of the fuse it blows off.
The element in the fuse melts, opening
t h e c i r c u i t a n d p r e v e n t i n g o t h e r
components of the circuit from being
damaged by the over current. The size of
the metal fuse element determines the
rating. Once a fuse blows off, it must be
replaced with a new one.
Fuse Box Location
Fuse boxs are located in two different
places.
1. Engine compartment fuse box
2. Instrument panel fuse box
Fuse Types
Two different type of fuses are used in the
vehicle.
1. Mini fuse
2. Maxi fuse
Spare Fuse
There are spare fuses provided in the
fuse box. In case any fuse has blown, you
can use the spare fuse.

Fuse Box
CAUTION
While replacing the blown fuse by
spare fuse, ensure that the ampere
ratings of both are same.
