Bonnet
Opening the Bonnet
1.
Pull the bonnet release lever located
below right hand side of instrument
panel.
2. Bonnet will slightly pop up. Press the
bonnet locking lever and lift the
bonnet
3. Hold the bonnet using stay rod
Closing the Bonnet
1. Lift the bonnet slightly and unhook
stay rod
2. Close the bonnet and make sure it
locks into place
CAUTION
E n s u r e t h a t t h e a r m s o f t h e
windscreen wipers are in parked
position before opening the bonnet
otherwise damage could occur to
the paintwork.
WARNING
• Never open the bonnet if you see
steam or coolant is flowing out of
the engine compartment. Wait until
the steam or coolant has stopped
escaping.
• For safety reasons, the bonnet
must always be properly closed
when driving. One should therefore
c h e c k t h a t t h e l o c k h a s i n f a c t
engaged properly after closing the
bonnet.
• Stop your vehicle immediately
while driving if you notice that the
b o n n e t l o c k i s n o t p r o p e r l y
engaged. Close the bonnet properly.
