Lock the flywheel using the MST 252 and loosen the 
flywheel mounting bolts 

 

Remove the flywheel. 

 

Remove the rear end oil seal with the retainer 

 

 

Remove the main bearing bolts. 

 

Remove the bearing caps along with bearing shell 
halves. 

 

Remove the crankshaft. 

 

Remove the bearing shells & thrust washers. 

 

Rotate the engine. 

 

 

Remove the cylinder liners using the MST. 

 

Remove the tappets by reversing the engine.
