DLZ CREATOR ADAPTIVE DIGITAL MIXER FOR PODCASTING AND STREAMING, FEATURING MIX AGENT™ TECHNOLOGY

Settings > Recording > One-Tap Record
By default, recording is a two-step process. Pressing the ‘Record’ button on the hardware “arms” the recording (i.e. “gets
it ready for recording”), but then ‘rec’ (on the display) needs to be tapped to start the recording. However, if one-tap record
is engaged (switch to the right), simply tapping the ‘Record’ button on the hardware will begin recording immediately.
Underneath the four recording toggle switches is a semicircle-arrow.
Tap it to reset everything within the recording sub tab to its default (i.e. to the left).
Settings > About
The fourth and final setting sub tab is the About screen. Tap About to open it, revealing a screen that looks somewhat like what
is displayed below.
There are literally only two options available once on the About screen and that is to either:
(1) retake the tour or (2) place DLZ Creator in ‘Demo Mode’.
Want to retake the tour? Simply tap the ‘Retake Tour’ button and off you go!
Would you rather see DLZ Creator in demo mode? Simply tap the ‘Demo Mode’ switch so it is to the right
(on, green) and off you go! Demo mode adds three things: (1) meters (regardless of input(s) and/or fader
position(s)), (2) a green ALL-CAPS ‘
DEMO MODE
’ at the top-center of the display regardless of what
tab is open and (3) a ‘Mixer Tour’ button tucked nicely in the lower-right corner of the display when
on the overview tab. If you would like to retake the tour, either tap this button (easy) or go the long
route by returning to settings > about > retake tour.
Other than retaking the tour or placing DLZ Creator in demo mode, there may be one other reason to visit
here. If you are calling Technical Support, it might behoove you to jot down the information at the bottom
of the display (before calling): Device IP address and firmware version.
