AUTOMIX Button
AutoMix allows quick access to the AutoMix banner, as seen below. Press the AutoMix button so the banner opens.
The first thing you may notice are that the input meters for channels 1-4 are gone. Do not fret! The meters are still there;
they are just “hidden” by the AutoMix banner.
Note that AutoMix is only visible when the ‘Overview’ tab is open. We will discuss ‘Overview’ and the other tabs
in the upcoming chapters.
While pressing the AutoMix button opens the AutoMix banner, AutoMix still needs to be turned on in order to function.
Simply tap the Automix on/off switch in the upper-right corner of the banner.
As it says at the top of the banner, “Select which microphone channels should be included using the toggles below.
Gain will be shared between the channels based on the selected priority value.”
In order to accomplish that feat, tap each channel’s ‘assign’ switch that you want to assign a ‘weight’ to.
Once turned on – switch to the right – assign the ‘weight’ that you would like assigned to each mic input: High, medium or low.
While all four channels have been assigned a weight in the example above, that doesn’t have to always be the case.
Channels 1-2 could be on while channels 3-4 remain off, for example. In order to assign a weight, however, the assign
button has to be turned on first.
