16
Introduction
From top to bottom and left to right, the top panel of each DLZ Creator is outfitted with a bunch of knobs, buttons, faders,
screens, encoders and more. So much more, in fact, that we will call out and describe each one... but not here...
Rather, what you see below is an outline and order each section will be described. Refer to the pages listed for in-depth
commentary and illustrative close-ups of each section.
As a reminder, the information detailed on the following pages is still regarding the hardware side of things.
We will dig into the DSP (Digital Signal Processing) afterwards.

Input Channels
DLZ Creator has a total seven input channel strips (four mono, three stereo), one stereo sampler channel strip,
and one stereo master channel strip. Each input channel strip contains the following:
SOLO Button
Solo offers the opportunity to audition channel(s) [input channel strips] before they are added to the mix.
Whenever a channel’s solo button is engaged, only the soloed channel(s) may be heard in headphone
output one. Solo buttons illuminate amber when engaged. A small, amber “S” will appear on that channel’s ID.
More about Channel IDs shortly.
MUTE Button
Mute buttons mute – turn off – the signal on the selected input(s) and/or output(s).
Mute buttons illuminate red when engaged. A small, red “M” will appear on that channel’s ID.
More about Channel IDs shortly.
