DLZ CREATOR ADAPTIVE DIGITAL MIXER FOR PODCASTING AND STREAMING, FEATURING MIX AGENT™ TECHNOLOGY
32
Keep in mind that we have only looked at this setup view when on channels 1-4. But what opportunities arise
when another channel is selected? The first box remains the same as it always was: presets, icons, colors,
naming and the ability to bypass all processing. However, since mic/XLR inputs are only on the first four
channels, a channel source is requested when viewing non-mic/XLR inputs, as seen below.
The source for channels 5/6 is either line in 5/6, USB 1/2 or USB 3/4. [Channels 7/8 are exactly the same
as channels 5/6, except the source is either line in 7/8, USB 1/2 or USB 3/4]. Channels 9/10 are a little bit
different in that its channel source is either Bluetooth or SD/USB. Simply tap the source you want for each
channel. An entire chapter is dedicated to routing. This includes detailed instructions and multiple screenshots
every step of the way. Please check it out in Chapter 14, pages 84-86.

#3 – The third and last “box” is about...
•
Turning the reverb and/or delay on (switch right) and off (switch left). When on, the reverb
switch will be purple and the delay switch is blue. They are grayed out when turned off.
Something else to notice is that channels with reverb and/or delay switched on, it will
also show up on that channel’s ID as seen below (along with the 48V phantom power
lightning bolt icon, when engaged).
The reverb and delay switches work exactly as described above. However, of note is the addition of a Mix-Minus
switch on channels 5/6, 7/8 and 9/10. When on – switch to the right – the mix-minus switch will be green.
As seen above, it is grayed out when turned off.
What mix-minus accomplishes is that DLZ Creator will send the sources a copy of the main mix minus
themselves. This helps prevent feedback and/or stereo return echoes. Additionally, as a Bluetooth source,
channels 9/10 work similarly in that it could be a caller from the outside for a podcast interview, for example.
It removes the caller’s voice from the call, yet allows them to hear the remaining channels (including
the samples).
