Set the Ethernet DMX8/W Wireless device
To firstly configure your node 8/W wireless device, you need to use a web
browser through your computer connected to the node 2/W.
Web Browser:
Using the Web browser means you have to set up your computer in the
same IP range than the Ethernet DMX8/W wireless device. It also means
that you can reach the access point from any operating system
(Windows, Mac or Linux). The Ethernet DMX8/W access point is factory
set up with the IP address 2.1.0.1, subnet mask 255.0.0.0.
To set your computer IP address, follow this procedure :
To set a static IP address:
1. Open Windows
Start
menu.
2. Open
Control Panel

3. Classic view: Open
Network Connections
Category view: Select
Network and Internet Connections
, and
then
Network Connections
.
4. Double-click on your active
LAN or Internet connection
.
5. Click
Properties
.
This opens the Local Area Connections Properties window.
6. In the
General
tab, highlight the
Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
item, and click
Properties
.
This opens the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties window.
