Routine Care and Maintenance 

 

Caution

: Routine maintenance should only be 

completed by qualified personnel to avoid risk of injury to 
the end user

. 

 

Warning: 

Use UV radiation eye and skin protection 

during servicing if access to the UV LED head is 
required during operation. 
 

Caution Hot Surface: 

Elevated temperatures exist on 

the LED head assemblies when units are operating. 
Allow a minimum of 5 minutes after turning off system 
power before handling

. 

RISK GROUP 2 
CAUTION: 
Possible hazardous optical radiation/ UV emitted 
from this product. Always use appropriate shielding.

 

 

8.1.1 

Operate the unit in a well ventilated area with at least 
six inches clearance to allow adequate space for the 
air vents located on the chassis side panels.  

8.1.2 

Always connect the controller

‟s external power module 

AC supply cord to a grounded outlet (earthed mains) 
only! 

8.1.3 

Avoid physical shocks or jarring of the LED head, 
especially while the unit is operating.   

8.1.4 

When necessary, clean the aperture of the UV LED 
head using an optical cleaning solution. Ensure the 
head has cooled down to room temperature, before 
cleaning the lens assembly.
