Chapter 11: Troubleshooting

Potential Reasons

User set the incorrect telephone number

User telephone is busy during alarm

Few ringing attempts lead the 
system to hang up the  phone
automatically

Battery is drained

Enroll remote controller without 
programming

Remote controller is too far from the
controller or blocked by obstacles

Wireless detector is not enrolled

The control panel plug is not
inserted in AC socket, or it is
not connected well

The zone is bypassed

When  disarm, zone 1,2,3 do not alarm; 
arm-stay zone 2 does not alarm

Different wireless zones use the
same code

Only analogue phone line is available. 

ADSL means the communication line,

 if connect ADSL directly to the control 

panel, message transmit will not be realized

There is a sleep period of 5minutes
for detector  to save battery between 
2 triggers.

Pin connector for LCD is not stable. 

Solutions

Set correct telephone number

Set more than two telephone numbers 

Increase ringing attempts.
Refer to ringing attempts
adjustment

Replace it with a new battery

Enroll remote controller  with
programming

Adjust the distance or angle between 
the paner and remote controller

Enroll the detector again

Check the connection of  the plug or 
replace the socket

Cancel bypass of the zone

Operate normally

Cancel this wireless zone

code learn and try again

Connect the phone interface of PSTN board

to phone interface of ADSL segregator. If the

problem still can not be realized, please cha-

nge a high-quality segregator.

Wait 5 minutes after the 1st trigger.

Re-connect the pin connector for LCD
