Maneuvering the floor saw
WARNING
Risk of injury from rotating saw blade
By touching the rotating saw blade clothes can be pulled in and limbs severed.
Any movement of the machine outside the area where cutting work is to be performed must be
done using a non-rotating tool.
Always pay attention to the surroundings while traversing and drive at a suitable speed.

Hazards in the work area
The running machine can be a potential source of injury if not used responsibly and used and operated as
prescribed.
The operator has to remain behind the handlebars during all cutting operation
The floor saw may only be operated by a single person. Instruct other persons to clear the work
area. Cordon off work area if required.
Maneuvering
the floor saw
Disengage traction drive (Pos. 8).
Raise saw blade with switch (Pos. 7) to have ample ground clearance.
Deactivate the water pump with switch (Pos. 2).
Set engine throttle forward to idle (Pos. 4).
Stop engine and
wait for saw blade to spin out to a standstill.
Set Gearbox for blade drive to freewheel (N)
Start engine (Pos. 1)
Release parking brake (Pos. 9) and engage traction drive (Pos. 8).
Drive machine to new position (Pos. 6).
