Start preparations
NOTICE
Cutting without obstacles
Damage of articles located in the cutting area or the saw blade.
Remove all obstacles from the cutting area and
Provide good lighting of the work area.
The cutting sequence can be marked by a marking spray for the orientation of the cutting sequence.
Start
preparation
The following conditions must be fulfilled in order to use the floor saw safely and as intended:
Check of the floor saw for damages, loose screw connections and for the completeness of the
attachments
Check of the engine oil level
The fuel tank is filled with sufficient fuel
A reliable water supply is provided
A suitable saw blade is correctly mounted
The water cooling system is fully functional
The handle bars are adjusted and secured
The cutting area is cleared from any obstacles
The parking lock is activated
The saw blade must be in a lifted position
- no ground contact!
The drive lever must be in neutral center position
7.4.
Weight plates (optional)
Function
Weight plates provide additional surface pressure and are generally
recommended for larger blade diameters. They can be installed at
the front or at the back of the machine, according to requirements.
More weight in the front prevents the blade from lifting, and more
weight at the rear provides more traction to the drive wheels. The
operator has to find the right balance for each cutting job.
Installation
Bolt c-rail to floor saw frame.
Add plates to rail and secure with wedge, pin and R-clip.
