Focus Image
Focus the field of
view
1.
Before running your sample, focus your cells using the image adjustment
(focus) knob on the right side of the instrument.
2.
Touch
Zoom
to review the image.
Correctly focused images have uniformly dark-colored cells surrounded by
bright halos.
Cells may be undercounted when the transition between the background
and the edges of the cells are fuzzy and the cells have undefined
boundaries.
Cells maybe overcounted when they have bright centers and dark
perimeters.
