6. Detach the antennas from the chassis as shown.

7. Peel off the papers that protect the stickers on the new antennas.
8. Stick the antennas to the chassis as shown.

9. Connect the antenna cables to the M.2 Wi-Fi card.

Replacing the converter board
Attention: Do not open your computer or attempt any repair before reading and understanding the Chapter
1 “Read this first: Important safety information” on page 1.
To replace the converter board, do the following:
1. Remove all media from the drives and turn off all attached devices and the computer. Then, disconnect
all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to the computer.
2. Place a soft, clean towel or cloth on the desk or surface. Hold the sides of your computer and gently lay
it down so that the screen is against the surface and the cover is facing up.
3. Remove the frame stand. See “Replacing the frame stand” on page 87.
4. Remove the computer cover. See “Removing the computer cover” on page 89.
5. Disconnect the converter-board cables.
