• To replace the M.2 Wi-Fi card, refer to your M.2 Wi-Fi card illustrations.
• The location of the Wi-Fi antenna connectors might vary depending on your M.2 Wi-Fi card.
To replace the M.2 Wi-Fi card, do the following:
1. Remove any media from the drives and turn off all connected devices and the computer. Then,
disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to the
computer.
2. Remove the frame stand. See “Replacing the frame stand” on page 87.
3. Remove the computer cover. See “Removing the computer cover” on page 89.
4. Locate the M.2 Wi-Fi card. See “Computer components” on page 31.
5. Disconnect the M.2 Wi-Fi antenna cables from the M.2 Wi-Fi card. Then, remove the screw that secures
the card so that the M.2 Wi-Fi card pops up.

6. Remove the M.2 Wi-Fi card from the card slot.
Note: Do not over pivot the M.2 Wi-Fi card.
