• A user-defined account cannot be assigned “password” as its password (cannot be the same as the
password for the default login account)
• An error message appears if the credentials for the default login account are used when the credentials
are not valid (see Error/Warning Messages on page 3 for details.)
• A warning message appears if the default login account is successfully logged into and no user-defined
accounts have been created yet (see Error/Warning Messages on page 3 for details.)
• When attempting to log out or apply settings to the controller, two checks are now made:
-
If the DIP switches are set to the normal operating mode
- If at least one user-defined account has been created
If either check fails, an appropriate error message appears. (see Error/Warning Messages , on page 38 for
details.)
6.2.4 Error/Warning Messages
This section provides additional detail on the error and warning messages that may appear.
Note: The following screens were generated using the LNL-3300 ISC. These screens are similar to
those generated by other controllers.
The Login Failed screen appears if you attempt to log in using the credentials for the default login account
and DIP SW1 is in the OFF position.
Login Failed: Default Login Account not Enabled
The Login Failed screen also appears if you attempt to log in using the credentials for the default login
account and DIP SW1 is in the ON position, but the 5-minute login time window has expired.
