LNL-1380-8RP to Supervised F/2F Reader Wiring

46.3.3

Door Position Monitor and REX Input Wiring

Typically, the door position monitor switch uses the Normally Closed (NC) contact and the REX uses the
Normally Open (NO) contact. For the LNL-1380-8RP Reader Interface Module, the door position monitor
and REX switches are wired to the F/2F reader. These configurations are downloaded from the host and may
be changed.

Unsupervised Inputs wired to the F/2F Reader

For 2-State Supervision, wire unsupervised inputs for the door position monitor and REX switches directly
to the F/2F reader. See the reader’s documentation for the proper connection terminals. End-Of-Line (EOL)
resistors are not required.
