Setting the Reader Power Selection Jumper (J5)
Power to the reader is selectable: 5 VDC or 12 VDC @ 300 mA maximum per reader port. This selection is
made via jumper J5 and is available for both reader ports. Readers requiring a different voltage or current
capability must be powered separately.
