9. Trouble shooting
9.1 Instrument malfunctions
Certain instrument malfunctions appear on the
4-digit LED display or are indicated through
illuminated LEDs on the control panel.
9.1.1 Error message E-1
If this message follows the software version indica-
tion after switching on the instrument, a loss of param-
eters has occurred.
Press any key.
All parameters are then set back to the default values.
You can continue with your normal working routine.
However, do make sure whether the settings you
selected earlier are still correct and make changes
if necessary.
9.1.2 HOME and STOP are illuminated
simultaneously
This indicates a failure to detect the limit positions
HOME and STOP.
This problem can only be corrected by Leica Techni-
cal Service..
