Connecting the LN

Connect the LN
2
hose with its threaded
connection to the FC7 cryochamber.
Connect the LN
2
hose with its threaded
connection to the FC7 to the pump. Before
inserting the connection open the safety
shutter (a).
The clean Dewar vessel has to be filled with
LN
2
according to the safety precautions.
Remove the yellow protective cup from the
lower end of the pump. Slowly lower the
pump into the Dewar. Hold the pump for a
while until the strong boiling decreases and
carefully lower the pump until it is completely
immersed.
