Menu button
The menu symbol itself (4) remains the same. Howe-
ver, the sequence of indication of the individual
values has been changed.
By pressing the menu button, the different parame-
ters are displayed in the following order (press
menu button once per parameter):
1. Chamber temperature
2. Specimen temperature
3. Preselected value of preset counter
(Press to activate / deactivate preset coun-
ter)
4. Maximum (= lowest) temperature of specimen
head
5. Time (real time)
6. Defrost time (= time when defrost cycle starts)
7. Duration of defrost cycle (Chamber)

When the instrument is in sectioning mode, (indica-
tion TRIM --> OFF!) display indication will go to
sectioning thickness selection by pressing or
.
Displayed is always the section thickness value
which has been selected last.
Press or to select a new section thickness
value.
Selectable section thickness selection range:
0 - 2 µm in 0.5-µm steps,
2 - 10 µm in 1-µm steps,
10 - 20 µm in 2-µm steps,
20 - 60 µm in 5-µm steps,
60 - 100 µm in 10-µm steps,
100 - 300 µm in 50-µm steps.
