Configuring Gamut Error Settings
To configure the gamut error settings, press
GAMUT on the STATUS menu.
The settings that you specify here also apply to the R, G, and B bars on the 5 bar display.
The unit for setting the level is the same as the unit that was specified with
Reference 12.8.1, “5 Bar Screen Description”

● Setting the Upper Limit
To set the upper limit of gamut errors, follow the procedure below. An error is detected when
the input signal level exceeds the specified value.
Press the function dial (F•D) to return the setting to its default value (109.4 or 765.8).
Procedure
● Setting the Lower Limit
To set the lower limit of gamut errors, follow the procedure below. An error is detected when
the input signal level falls below the specified value.
Press the function dial (F•D) to return the setting to its default value (-7.2 or -50.4).

● Setting the Area
To specify the percentage of the active picture area over which errors must occur to be
recognized as an error, follow the procedure below.
Press the function dial (F•D) to return the setting to its default value (0.0).

To set the number of consecutive video frames over which errors must occur to be
recognized as an error, follow the procedure below.
Press the function dial (F•D) to return the setting to its default value (1).
