Establishing networks
Establishing communication requires informing every
system
about
the
other
systems
dedicated
for
communicating.
1.
Find in the tree-definition under “System-
>Definition->Parameter = TCP Link“ the field “Active
TCP Connection“ and enter the TCP/IP address the
system you are just configuring uses for
communication.
2.
Under MODE please enter for this connection type
GNET.
You can enter up to eight systems that can communicate with
this mode.
Functions like error logging (future option) are also to be
entered into this table. Therefore it makes sense to keep
free at least one to two TCP connections.
On the receiver side it is also necessary to fill in this entry
from which TCP/IP addresses (senders) news can be
received. The mode is also GNET.
