Transferring a video signal to NTSC format via SDI can cause, according to SMPTE
because of the nominal data transfer rate, problems on the tracks 15 and 16. Use
the channels 1-12 instead.
Remote disable
:
1.
Set the switch to “ON”.
The zirkon remote-controls no function on this board.
Clean:
In the position “OFF” all incoming signals are looped through resp. the
channels for which an embedder is activated are new written. In position “ON” all
audio signals are deleted after the deembedding process if at least one block works
as embedder.
Set Audio Input Invalid
:
1.
Set this switch to “OFF”.
SRC Disable if f(sys) = 48kHz:
1.
Set the switch to “OFF“ to activate the SRC function of the card input
(recommended).
2.
Set the switch to “ON” to switch the input SRCs off.
20Bit Dither Disable
: This switch only carries a function if the switch SRC Disable if f(sys) =
48kHz is on the position “ON”.
1.
For switching the output SRCs off set the switch to “ON”!
2.
Set the switch to the position “OFF” to switch on the SRC!
The SRC carries out a dither of the output signal at 20 bits.
BLOCK A and BLOCK B
:
Deembedder/Embedder:
Switching between the function of the respective block.
Group Select:
see drawing. Group 1 = track 1-4, Group 2 = track 5-8, Group 3 = 9-12, Group 4
= 13-16.
