Caution
Before starting pressure measurement, make
sure that there are no people around the
machine.
Important
Use a pressure gauge and hydraulic hose
which can withstand the pressure of 28 MPa
(285.52 kgf/cm
2
) (4,060.91 psi) or more.
The forward side measuring port plug is
located in the lower part of the piston pump
located in front of the engine.
Follow the steps below to install the
pressure gauge for high pressure
measurements.
Remove the taper plug PT1/8 with a
square head from the PT3/8 7/8 14UNF
90° adjustable elbow with the forward
side measuring port.
Install the reducing adapter PT1/8 PF1/4.
Install the pressure gauge for high
pressure measurements.

Caution
Be careful so that the cross-valve will not be
interfered by the sling.
Apply resistance on the frame part using a
sling, etc. so that the main vehicle will not
drive forward.

Make sure that the parking brake is applied.
Start the engine, and rev it up to the
maximum rpm.
Release the parking brake.
It is normal if the pressure is 24.5 MPa
(250.25 kgf/cm
2
) (3,553.30 psi) when the
forward pedal is depressed and the tires
are locked without slipping.
