Terminal Relay
The terminal relay controls the following.
Reel cutter rotation direction
Up/down of all mower units
Position of #4, #5 mower unit
The operating condition can be determined by
checking the illumination of the LEDs.
Three of the four circuits are used.

Operating Condition of Terminal Relay
The terminal relay is located on the right side
under the seat.
It controls the engine stop when the reel
cutter is in reverse rotation, and controls the
raising/lowering of mower units #4 and #5.
LED (1) lights up when moving the reel
reverse switch to the "Reverse" side.
LED (2) lights up when mower unit #4
reaches a specific height above the ground.
LED (3) lights up when mower unit #5
reaches a specific height above the ground.

Inspection of Terminal Relay
Measure the continuity of the terminal relay to
determine if it is good or faulty.
Remove all terminal relay wires.
Use a circuit tester and check that the
continuity is in the following condition, using
the table below as a guide.

Important
This relay has a specific polarity.
When connecting the battery, always connect
positive (+) to the COM terminal.
Connect COM to the battery (+), and
terminal relay terminals 1 to 4 to the battery
(-).
Check that the LED illuminates in the
positions that the battery is connected.
Check for continuity while the LED is
illuminated, and that the results are as
shown in the table below.
