away from the proximity switch, and check
that the continuity is in the following
condition.

When the plastic magnet is detected:

Adjustment
Reel Rotation Circuit
Set the reel rotation/stop switching lever of
the mower units other than #4 to the stop
position.
Start the engine.
Raise all mower units.
Warning
Do not enter the space below the mower
units.
Caution
Before work, make sure that there are no
people around the machine.
Make sure that the parking brake is
applied.
(Make sure that there are no people
around the machine.)
Push the reel rotation switch to the
"Rotation" side.
Shift the mower unit up/down lever to the
"DOWN" position.
During the procedure, make sure that the
mower unit #4 starts reel rotation in a
position where the height of the bed knife
outer end is lower than 400 mm (15.75 in)
from the ground.
If it starts reel rotation in a position where
the height of the bed knife outer end is
higher than 400 mm (15.75 in) from the
ground, adjust the proximity switch.
