2.5 Spark Plug
2.5.1 Inspection of spark plug
●Disassemble spark plug (see section “disassembly of
spark plug”)
●Visually inspect the spark plug
○If the center electrode of spark plug [A] and/or side
electrode [A] is corroded or damaged, or insulated
terminal [C] is broken, replace the spark plug
★
If the spark plug is dirty or there is carbon deposit,
replace the spark plug
○Use a wire feeler to measure the gap [D]
○If the gap is incorrect, replace the spark plug
Spark plug gap: 0.7±0.1mm
○Use standard spark plugs or their equivalents
Spark plug: D7RTC
2.6 ECU
●System inspection
●Remove ECU and check the parts at wiring terminal
related to ignition system.
(See section “ECU” of electronic injection system for
details)
