To perform Maintenance functions, you must first access Maintenance Mode.
Then, you can select the desired Maintenance command.
Note
The first time that you power up the Series 4000 timeclock, the Communication
Settings screen will appear. For more information about what to enter in
communication settings, see the “Communication Setting (basic configuration),”
section in this chapter.
To access Maintenance Mode:
To exit from Maintenance Mode, press ESC.
Note
If the timeclock is idle for 45 seconds without any input from the keypad, it
automatically exits Maintenance Mode and returns to Employee Mode.

Swipe the Maintenance badge from top to bottom.

Maintenance Login
Type the password (up to 6 digits), and press
ENTER.
If you enter the wrong password, an error message
appears. Press CLR to clear the screen, then type the
password again.

Press the desired Maintenance Command soft key.
