Series 4000 Badge Timeclock User’s Guide

The Series 4000
timeclock does not
power up, and the
power LED is not
turned on.
The transformer is not
plugged in properly to
the timeclock’s main
board, the AC outlet, or
both.
Check the connections to the main board
and the AC outlet.
Important: If the power cord is not
plugged into the AC outlet, do not plug it
in until you ensure that the transformer is
properly connected to the main board.

Timeclock Installation Guide.
No power available to
AC outlet.
Restore power.
While running on
backup battery power,
the backup battery
expired.
Restore power via AC outlet.
Poor connection to the
main board.
Check the connections to the main board.
Bad cable.
Replace cable. Contact your TLM
Representative.
Power supply is bad.
Replace power supply. See “Replacing the
AC Power Supply (transformer)” in
Chapter 4 on page 4-40.
Power LED is off
LED indicator light is
burned out.
Replace the front cover assembly. Contact
your TLM Representative.
Run the LED test.
1. Access Maintenance Mode.
2. Press the More soft key.
3. Press the LED Test soft key.
4. Press ENTER to start the test and note
the result.
5. Contact your TLM Representative.
