CAUTION!
Risk of injury due to tripping over hoses and cables!
Hoses and cables are slipping and tripping hazards. A fall can cause injuries.
Note:
–
Always pay attention to hoses and cables in the work area.
–
Install cables outside of the work area in a designated cable conduit if possible.
–
Mark tripping hazards with black-yellow marking tape.
6.2 General installation information
Adhere to the following general information for the installation:
n
Only carry out the installation and start-up in accordance with the steps described in these
operating instructions.
n
Always observe the applicable country-specific safety, accident prevention, occupational
safety, and environmental protection regulations for the area of use for the spray booth.
n
Only use hoses and hose fittings that can withstand the pressures and other loads as neces-
sary.
n
In case of unforeseen fluid leakage, e.g. the loosening of a fluid hose connection or during the
bursting of a fluid hose, close the shut-off valve at the material source as quickly as possible!
It is recommended to install the shut-off valve within reach of the operator of the spray gun so
that - especially during the processing of hazardous materials - unforeseen fluid leakage can
be stopped quickly.
n
Mixing up the air or fluid connections can lead to permanent damage to the spray gun.
n
Reduce the supply air through the installation of a pressure regulator to a maximum of 6 bar.
n
Make sure that the connected compressed air is oil-free and free of solid matter.
n
Operate the spray gun with processed, dried compressed air (air quality pursuant to DIN ISO
8573-1: quality class 4).
n
Never point the compressed air at living beings.
During the work with flammable materials, the maximum coating material throughput must be
calculated.
