2 Function and identification
2.1 Function
The hand-held spray gun is designed for the processing of 2-component dispersion adhesive.
In this method, one component is atomised via the spray gun using the conventional method or
using the low-mist HVLP method (High Volume Low Pressure). The coating material is fed via a
fluid hose through the bottom connection of the hand-held spray gun.
The second component (e.g. activator) is sprayed via an additional atomisation system mounted
on the side of the gun. The coating fluid is fed via a separate fluid hose.
The mixing of the two components only takes place in the spray jet. This prevents a premature
reaction of the material. Continuous mixing of the components or specified time intervals for
cleaning are not required. The hand-held spray guns are cleaned after the work has been com-
pleted, just like standard spray guns.
