A restrictor (included in fireplace components packet) is recommended on all vertical terminations over 6‟ (1.82 m) in length
.
Each installation is unique and affected by various factors including venting configuration, altitude and climate. Therefore, after
fireplace installation is complete a restrictor may be required or may need to be removed or modified.
Please refer to page 29 for installation instructions if installing the restrictor in conjunction with the venting.
Page 57 has information on restrictor recommendations depending on burner flame appearance and instructions on installation
after venting is completed.
