MILLIVOLT BOARD REMOVAL
1.
Turn gas control knob to the „OFF‟
position.
2. Shut off gas supply at the manual
shut-off valve.
3. Disconnect gas line flex tube from the
manual shut-off valve.

Model DSL-36:
Disconnect any wall
switch, remote control or thermostat
wires from top & bottom terminals on
the gas valve.
Model DSL-36-RF:
Unplug fan cord
from receptacle, disconnect the (2)
wires from fan cord. (The wires will
remain connected to the back of gas
valve).
5. Remove upper hood, upper louver &
glass assembly. Refer to page 43 if
necessary.
6. Remove glass frame assembly. Refer to
page 17 if necessary.
7. Remove logs and bottom refractory
panels.
8. Remove pilot shield.
9. Remove refractory panel set (if in-
stalled).
10. Remove the burner / burner heat shield
assembly from firebox by lifting up off
the orifice and out of firebox.
11. Remove and save the (8) screws
securing the millivolt board to firebox
bottom.
12. Lift millivolt board up and out of
firebox being careful not to damage the
sealing gasket lying underneath.
CAUTION: If the burner and/or pilot have been burning, use the
appropriate protection to avoid burns or damage to personal
property before removing any components.
