IF USING 5” x 8” VENTING, USE KOZY HEAT WALL THIMBLE PASS-THRU (#800-WPT)
FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS ON PAGE 23 OF THIS INSTALLATION MANUAL.
IF USING A 8” x 6-5/8” DECREASER, FOLLOW VENT PIPE MANUFACTURER‟S
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR THEIR WALL THIMBLE.
For each additional 90

elbow used after the first elbow, 3 ft. (91
4 mm) must be subtracted from the maximum venting allowed.
For each 45° elbow used, 1-1/2 ft. (457 mm) must be subtracted from the maximum venting allowed.
NOTE: (2) 45° degree elbows may be used in place of (1) 90° elbow.
IMPORTANT: THE HORIZONTAL VENT HEAT SHIELD INCLUDED WITH THIS FIREPLACE
MUST BE INSTALLED WHEN USING A 90° ELBOW DIRECTLY OFF THE UNIT TO
HORIZONTALLY POSITION THE VENT SYSTEM. THIS INCLUDES ANY CORNER
INSTALLATION.
