Tone
When using a rotary dialing (pulse) telephone line, press Tone to select push-button tone
mode. This is used when using a FAX information service and so forth. A "T" is displayed
on the screen.
In case of the dial (pulse) line, you can switch it to the push-button tone using the asterisk "*"
button.

Pause
Press Pause to insert a space in a dialed number. Pressing Pause once creates an inter-
val of one second between numbers. Multiple spaces can also be entered. A "P" is dis-
played on the screen.
If
Pause is pressed following a "0" and so forth in the case of calling to an outside line
from an extension, you can dial with reliability. A "P" is displayed on the screen.

This is entered as a separation symbol when dialing. It has no effect on dialing. A "-" is
displayed on the screen.
