To use the external line access code as the prefix for abbre-
viated dial numbers, when the PBX connection mode is set
to ON, select
Add external line code to Abbr data
, then press
YES
.
The abbreviated dial number will be automatically prefixed with the external line access
code. You need not dial the external line access code.
To render the external line access code [E] no longer the valid prefix for abbreviated dial
numbers, when the PBX connection mode is set to OFF, select
Delete external line
code from Abbr
, then press
YES
.
The external line accesscode will not prefix the abbreviated dial number.
To stop setting up, press
CANCEL
.

Press
OK
.
The value of the parameter is changed and you return to the Fax Key Operator Mode
screen.
Refer to (p. 10-5) to exit from the Key Operator mode.
