Useful functions
It is useful to assign abbreviated dial numbers for senders that you dial frequently and use a des-
tination list (in alphabetical order of destination name) or the abbreviated dial numbers to dial.
Also, by registering One-touch/Program function, you can call the registered content by pressing
the One-touch Program button.
Abbreviated dial
This section describes the procedures on setting the FAX number, destination name, and
retrieval character.
1.
Press [ FAX ] on the control panel to see the FAX Basic screen
if it is not shown.
2.
Make sure that the Telbook is selected, and then press
ENTRY .
3.
Press Abbr No entry/edit .
The abbreviated dialing list screen appears when Abbr No list/search has been pressed. If
abbreviated dial numbers are already registered, you can press EDIT in that screen to edit the
contents of the list. For details, see "Changing set abbreviated dial numbers" (p. 9-8).
