Substitute Transmission

If there is an error with the machine while it is receiving a fax, documents can be transferred to
and output on another fax machine. The Substitute transmit can be set when the Fax Basic
screen is displayed, and operation has been interrupted as a result of the machine being out of
paper or paper being jammed in the machine.

1.

Press [

CHECK

] on the control panel.

2.

Press

Forward Tx

.

3.

Enter the destination where the received document is to be
transferred by using the key pad and then press [

START

].

4.

Press

BACK

.

The setting confirmation mode menu will be restored.

To cancel an intercepted transfer, press [

STOP/CLEAR

]. Since the job currently being pro-

cessed will be displayed, press 

YES

 to cancel that job.
