Entering Character Strings
A screen displays to allow you to enter a name for abbreviated telephone numbers or for a group.
The procedures for entering characters from the screen are described below.
•
Press DEL. to delete the current character.
•
To delete all entered characters, press [ STOP/CLEAR ].
To enter an alphabetic letter or symbol
1.
Press .
Upper-case letters of alphabet, lower-case letters of alphabet, and symbols will appear
in this order.

When the desired character is displayed, press the corre-
sponding key.
