VOLUME]

ENABLE]
Specify whether to sound the machine sta-
tus notification buzzer.

[CONFIRMATION]
Specify the volume of the operation confir-
mation sound such as the input confirmation
sound, invalid input sound, or basic sound.

[COMPLETE]
Specify the volume of the successful com-
pletion sound such as the print operation
completion sound or fax communication
completion sound.

[PREPARTION]
Specify the volume of the completed prepa-
ration sound.

[CAUTION]
Specify the volume of the caution sound
such as the simple caution sound levels 1 to
3, or a severe caution sound.

[INITIAL MODE]
Select the initial mode. Select [COPY] or
[FAX].

Configure the setting to send a fax with a
header.
[COMM. SETTING]
[TONE/PULSE]
Specify the telephone line type such as the
push telephone line or dialing telephone line.
[LINE MONITOR]
Specify whether to make the line monitor
sound audible through the speaker during
communication.
[PSTN/PBX]
Specify the connected communication line
such as [PSTN] or [PBX].
[USER SETTING]
[DATE&TIME]
Specify the current date and time.
[DAYLIGHT SAV-
ING]
Specify the time to switch to the daylight-
saving time.
[USER FAX NO.]
Register the local fax number.
[USER NAME]
Register a sender name to be assigned to
the header of the original to be sent.
