3.2 Explanation of components

19. Hold switch
To fix the speed range when traveling in automatic transmission,
press switch (19) at the side of the lift arm control lever knob.
The transmission will be fixed in the speed range displayed on
shift indicator (A) on the machine monitor and shift hold pilot
lamp (B) will light up.
When the switch is pressed again, the HOLD condition is can-
celled and the display goes out.
Use this function to select the desired speed range when travel-
ing up or down hills or when carrying out operations such as
grading.
REMARK
When the torque converter is locked up (Option), the shift is not
fixed.
When canceling the shift hold, operate the directional lever or
gearshift lever or operate the transmission shift mode selector
switch to MANUAL. It is also possible to cancel the hold shift by
turning the starting switch OFF.
20. Load meter subtotal switch
(Option)
It is possible to return the load meter to 0 for the overall load
(when in addition mode) or remaining load (when in subtraction
mode). Press switch (20) on the side of the bucket control lever.
The overall load display will return to 0.

21. Directional selector switch
This switch (21) is used to switch the direction of travel of the
machine between forward and reverse.
F Position: FORWARD
N Position: Neutral
R Position: REVERSE
Before operating this switch, check that the condition is as fol-
lows.

Directional lever is at N
z
Directional selector switch actuation switch is at ON
If the condition is not as above, the switch will not work.
