NSTALLATION
2.1 INTRODUCTION
The information in this chapter will familiarize you
with safety information, unpacking and inspection,
installation requirements, mounting procedures and
wiring for installing the BDS5, PSR4/5 and/or
External Regen Resistors. Read the entire chapter
carefully. The chapter contains an extensive checkout
procedure because most installation problems are
caused by incorrect wiring or poor wiring practices.
Complete the entire checkout procedure before
attempting to put your BDS5 system into operation.
2.2 SAFETY INFORMATION
The purpose of this section is to alert you to possible
safety hazards associated with this equipment and the
precautions you can take to reduce the risk of personal
injury and damage to the equipment.
Safety notices in this manual provide important
information. Read and be familiar with these
instructions before attempting installation, operation,
or maintenance. Failure to observe these precautions
could result in serious bodily injury, damage to the
equipment, or operational difficulty.
