Fuel System and Governor
Low Idle Speed Adjustment
The recommended low idle speed is 2000 +100 RPM.
The low idle speed is set by turning the low idle speed
screw in or out, see Figures 5-15 and 5-16.
1. With the engine warm, move the throttle lever
clockwise until it stops.
2. Check the idle speed with a tachometer.
3. Turn the adjustment screw in (clockwise) to
increase the idle speed, or out (counterclockwise)
to decrease the idle speed, until the correct speed
is attained.
