the BiCyCle

7.6 Lighting

Your Pedelec is equipped with a high quality bike lights corres-

ponding to the StVZO and have an official mark. This is indica

-

ted by the waved line with the letter K, and a five-digit number.
The energy for the light is supplied from the battery of the
Biactron system. The headlight is equippedwith a high quality
LED with high light output. The taillight is also a bright LED
light integrated at the carrier. The energy consumption of the
light system is very low and does not affect the range of the
propulsion system.
If the battery charge is so low that the propulsion system is
not able to deliver assistance through the motor, there is still
enough energy to keep the light on for at least 2 hours.
In case of a failure in the lighting system check all contacts
at the headlight and taillight. Check all cables for possible
damages.

If you cannot find any erros, please visit an authorized dealer
for repair immediately.

Caution: A non-functioning light is illegal and

endangers your life on the road. Bicycles without

lights are easily overlooked in the dark. You would

risk serious accidents.

For further information on the lighting system, see the ac

companying user manuals of each manufacturer. If you have
further questions, please contact the dealer or our technical
hotline.
